Mid to Senior Corporate/Capital Mkts Role – Potential Leadership Position – Middle East (4+ PQE)

Our client is a rapidly expanding and market leading presence in the Middle East, already attracting the highest quality work available and dominating the legal rankings.

We have now been mandated to secure a mid to senior level Corporate lawyer with broad Public or Private M&A, Private Equity, Capital Markets (Equity and/or Debt), and/or general Banking and Finance experience to take on a rarely available position within their Corporate transactional practice.  The focus of the role will be to add value through your previously accumulated experience in a rapidly developing and burgeoning market.  Equally, you will add strategic value to the direction of the firm alongside mentoring and supervising the more junior members of the team.

The firm is astonishingly well-positioned for the right individual with the requisite vision and ambition to come in and advance the Corporate and wider transactional teams with a medium to long term strategy in mind.  The firm as it currently stands offers an impressive and unique platform given that the current Management team has already established the reputation of the firm as one of the leading and dominant players in the sector, and now this opportunity has been created that offers both a consistent flow of lucrative work to further build from, but equally a springboard from which continued practice growth can be easily realised given the buoyancy of the markets in which they operate.

Full Management level support and budgeting is in place, and in terms of working environment, the ethos of the firm has traditionally been to foster a close-knit and supportive environment.  Ideally, the firm is now seeking a Corporate (or broader transactional) lawyer with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience, previously gained from a leading international firm operating in London, whilst candidates from leading national firms in major regional locations in the UK may also be considered.  Equally, transactional lawyers operating in recognised practices within leading national or international firms in America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand would also be of interest.  If the successful candidate is on the more senior end of the spectrum, it is likely that a leadership position will be offered at the outset.

The firm offers a financially lucrative salary package which is entirely tax free, as well as benefits including full relocation and family support to ensure a smooth transition and successful move ensues.
