Insolvency & Restructuring Associate (5-8 PQE) - Cayman Islands
We're currently engaged on an exciting opportunity for a motivated restructuring and insolvency associate to become part of our client's growing Cayman Islands practice. This role extends beyond insolvency-related work, encompassing creditor-debtor disputes and remedies within and outside insolvency proceedings. It's an ideal fit for individuals seeking a dynamic and diverse challenge who enjoy working closely with clients to address and solve complicated problems.
Involving high-stakes matters, this position calls for a keen interest in cross-border work. Utilising insolvency and restructuring tools, you'll craft unique strategies for the firm's international asset recovery and judgment enforcement engagements. Key requirements include:
- 5-8 years of post-qualification experience
- Admission in the Cayman Islands and/or the U.K.
- Strong litigation and bankruptcy/restructuring background
- Exceptional writing, drafting, and editing skills
As a successful applicant, you'll become part of a globally rated team, working on multinational bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Your role will involve representing debtors, creditors, committees, and other stakeholders in insolvency-related disputes and investigations. Often serving as special litigation counsel, you'll handle matters frequently entailing allegations of fraud or other wrongdoing.
