Associate General Counsel - Defence & Aerospace - Saudi Arabia

An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing company operating in the Defence and Aviation sectors. Our client collaborates with international and local partners, and develops cutting-edge technologies, supporting various initiatives to promote innovation and growth within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role is ideal for senior counsels with expertise in corporate transactions (joint ventures, M&A, project development, and corporate/project finance with debt and equity offerings). Preferred credentials include experience in commercial contracts (supply agreements, project development, EPC agreements), as well as construction, procurement, and project development, particularly in the aviation and defense sectors. Additional sought-after expertise includes intellectual property, technology transfer/development, and international trade, sanctions, and export controls.

Applicants will ideally have gained a minimum of 10 years' legal experience working for well-regarded international law firms and in-house legal teams including some experience in the defence and/or aviation sectors. Applicants must be legally qualified either from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand. Applicants with prior experience of working in the GCC would be attractive but that is not essential.

Location: Saudi Arabia

Remuneration: £250,000- £350,000 (tax free) + bonus & benefits
