A well regarded firm with a Legal 500 ranked public and regulatory law team.
THE ROLE
An experienced public and regulatory lawyer is sought to join a broad practice which acts for public bodies and regulators as well as charities, businesses, campaigning groups and individuals affected by their regimes.
Many of the team worked for government departments or in-house for public bodies before joining, so understand the statutory and policy framework and real-world challenges clients are dealing with.
This hire is being made with growth in mind and a large part of the role will comprise business development activity. This is a real opportunity for someone, with the help of the partners, to build their own client base.
ABOUT YOU
You will handle a varied and challenging caseload divided approximately equally between advisory and contentious work, with a high degree of client contact and encouragement to develop your own relationships.
You will be a UK qualified solicitor 3PQE + and will have an enthusiasm for business development, and ideally a demonstrable track record of helping to build a practice.
