Pembury Legal is delighted to be working exclusively with a Top US firm in their search for a generalist Risk & Compliance Lawyer in London. Under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and the Deputy Compliance Officer for Legal Practice, the Risk and Compliance Lawyer supports the firm’s compliance with standards and regulations issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and other international jurisdictions. Through policies, training, and consulting, the Risk and Compliance lawyer acts as a trusted advisor to both client-facing lawyers and business staff on client engagement terms, conflicts of interest, client accounts, anti-money laundering regulations, breaches, lawyer admissions, professional misconduct, employee recruiting, commercial agreements, and other compliance issues related to the practice of law. Applicants should be at least 3PQE and have a strong fee-earning background and experience in law firm risk & compliance. The firm offers a very attractive 6 figure salary at one of the most prestigious law firms in the world on a full-time on 4 days a week basis.
