Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Real Estate Associate to join their office based in Buckinghamshire.

The ideal individual will have trained with an established regional, city or national firm and have gained a solid overview across a broad range of real estate transactions. You will be able to demonstrate a consistently strong academic profile and some regional ties to the Thames Valley would be preferable.

The team frequently advise on complex commercial property matters including:

- Portfolio Management

- Real Estate Finance

- Landlord & Tenant

- Development Projects

- Investment Opportunities

You can expect to contribute to business development initiatives on a regular basis. This role will suit someone looking for early client contact and the opportunity to develop their real estate knowledge longer term. This firm are frequently ranked highly in the legal directories and are noted for their exceptional diligence and in-depth technical knowledge. The firm has a focus on promoting employee well-being and is consistently ranked highly within internal employee engagement surveys with a high retention rate across all PQE levels.

The Real Estate team currently consists of 20+ fee-earners inc. partners. It is regarded as one of the leading real estate practices and is recommended by the leading independent legal directories.  There is PSL and paralegal support within the department and access to a wide range of valuable on-line resources.

Candidates should have good inter-personal skills, strong academics and high-quality experience – typically with a major City or leading national/regional practice. Team playing skills are important – successful candidates can expect to work with a number of partners within the group, in small and occasionally larger teams, as well as running cases with minimal supervision.

Clients include global FTSE 100 corporates, mid-tier businesses (whether quoted or owner-managed), household name PLCs and other major international groups, and high net worth private clients.

The team offer excellent supervision, coaching and training, and expect all team members to take responsibility at an early stage and to want to be stretched and challenged. An appetite for business development will be a definite advantage. 

The department handles a broad range of real estate work and includes teams dedicated to dispute resolution, construction, planning and environmental.  The main areas of expertise are:

  • Development
  • Investment
  • Corporate Occupiers (including retail/office/industrial) Banking
