Senior Corporate Associate, Guernsey

We are currently in collaboration with a prestigious offshore law firm to identify exceptional candidates for their corporate team in Guernsey. This firm is renowned for its expertise in corporate transactions and combines outstanding transactional skills with specialised knowledge in areas such as corporate restructurings, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and statutory mergers.

In this role, you will become an integral member of a dedicated team led by experienced partners, actively participating in the day-to-day management of corporate matters and engaging in business development activities. Selection Criteria:

1. Possess relevant academic and professional qualifications, preferably obtained within a common law jurisdiction.
2. Ideally, have post-qualification experience exceeding 5 years PQE gained within a top-tier onshore/offshore law firm.
3. Demonstrate advanced knowledge in Corporate, Business & Finance, Financial Services, Regulatory, Insolvency, Restructuring, Intellectual Property, and Funds laws.
4. Exhibit a proven ability to comprehend complex legal information, provide sound advice, and draft various legal documents, often under significant time pressure. 
5. Experience in handling transactions from start to finish and managing junior team members.
6. Possess practical and high-level technical knowledge and expertise. 
7. Show a willingness to develop existing skills and stay updated through additional training.
8. Showcase effective organisational and communication skills, enabling autonomous work and engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
