This major US and international law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious mid-level Associate to join their busy and thriving Corporate & Private Equity practice in Abu Dhabi. Their clients include an impressive list of sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, and major regional investors, with their practice being particularly noted for it's strength in sovereign investment related mandates, spanning a variety of big-ticket domestic and international deals, and focusing especially on the areas of technology, media, telecoms, leisure and tourism. Their broad-ranging work is usually cross-border, particularly involving the Gulf, Africa and Asia, and spans a variety of top-end M&A, joint venture and private equity transaction types and structures, while some top level fund formation and commercial transactional work is also a regular feature. Applicants will need to be US, UK, Commonwealth or European qualified lawyers with a strong track-record in large scale and complex cross-border corporate transactions. Arabic language skills would also be welcomed although these are not essential.
