This major offshore and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for a senior-level dispute resolution lawyer to join their growing and thriving top-level practice on Jersey to focus in the main on high-level regulatory disputes. Working closely with leading corporates, financial institutions and industry regulators, their team is particularly active in the financial services sector, including the banking, insurance, securities and funds spaces. The scope of their practice focusses particularly on major financial services investigations and enforcement actions, including where they arise from fraud and financial crime. The disputes team also draws on strong support from the firm's market leading non-contentious practice which is adept with registrations, licensing and regulatory compliance work. Applicants will need to be Jersey or UK qualified lawyers (the UK regulatory aspect (FCA) is similar to the JFSC in Jersey and UK experience will therefore align closely), with broad-ranging and high-level regulatory disputes experience, and along with a commitment to building a top-level career on Jersey for the long term.
