An exciting opportunity for a talented Legal Counsel to join a leading independent distributor of fuels and lubricants in the UK. Based in their friendly Cheshire office, we would be delighted to discuss this role if you are already working in-house or keen to explore a move into industry.
Part of a larger international organisation, the aim of this business is to support their customers on their journey to a low carbon future by supplying them with renewable and lower-carbon forms of energy, and as Legal Counsel you will play an integral role in enabling this transition.
Day to day, this is a 'hands-on' role where you'll be exposed to an excellent array of legal and compliance matters across disciplines of regulatory and compliance, commercial contracts, data protection, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and disputes issues, as well as marketing and advertising.
It's vital that you possess strong communication skills, are commercially minded and client focused. In terms of your experience, you'll be circa NQ up to 3 years PQE, from either a private practice or in-house setting. You'll be working alongside collegiate high-calibre lawyers with stellar pedigrees who will support, develop, and mentor you. As an in-house role it offers a perfect springboard and flexibility in terms of agile working.
