This major US and international law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious mid-level Energy Associate to join their busy and thriving practice in Dubai. Their clients include an impressive list of premier project sponsors and contractors, equity investors, financial institutions, state-owned entities, and governments, with their high-level practice spanning a full range of financing, development and related corporate activity across the MEA oil & gas, power and renewables spectrum. Applicants will need to be US, UK, Commonwealth or European qualified lawyers with a strong track-record in large-scale energy projects. You'll ideally need to be familiar with a range of upstream, midstream, and/or downstream oil and gas agreements, including power purchase agreements, and ideally covering a range of asset types. Some broader infrastructure projects experience would also be welcomed, along with Arabic and/or French language skills although these are not essential.
