The Role

Ranked by the prestigious Legal 500 Tier system, you will work as part of this renowned and quickly growing Edinburgh Banking and Finance team with colleagues from across the UK.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full gamut of financial work, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation, managing conditions precedent processes, inter-creditor arrangements, and any issues which arise relating to living lending transactions.

Clients include some of the most highly regarded investors and financial institutions in the country. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of these clients and build a strong reputation in one of Europe's key financial hubs as an expert in banking and finance law.

The successful candidate will be in an enviable position, working in one of Europe's central financial hubs, and developing market-leading expertise in Banking and Financial law. A true career progression launch-pad opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate

    An ambitious solicitor with a strong general background of banking expertise. NQs who have undertaken a Bankings seat will also be considered.Experience liaising with stakeholders including borrowers, lenders and investors throughout the full transaction lifecycle.Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relationsIs commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current construction law landscape
