**ABU DHABI – CONSTRUCTION/PROJECTS (FRONT END) – ASSOCIATE/SENIOR ASSOCIATE**

Our client is one of the longest standing international law firms in the United Arab Emirates.

It is known for its expertise in the oil and gas, construction and infrastructure and real estate sectors, along with solid experience in, private equity investments, and corporate and commercial transactions.

Its International Construction Practice has an outstanding track record on large, often ground-breaking and iconic construction and infrastructure projects, acting for a range of clients including multinational corporates, regional and local businesses based in the UAE, Middle East and globally.  The Abu Dhabi team particularly focuses on large infrastructure projects in the oil and gas/petrochemical sector, but also has regular involvement in projects across the GCC region in other sectors, working closely with the firm’s high profile real estate, energy and infrastructure teams.

Day to day workload done by the team includes advising on, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of construction / EPC contracts and ancillary documentation, including security documentation, operations and maintenance contracts and other related agreements.  This is a collegiate and high performing group, offering excellent training and development and offers the opportunity to work with other lawyers with high levels of regional expertise. 

Due to organic growth, it now seeking to hire two new associates into the team at Associate (2-5 year pqe) and Senior Associate (6-8 year pqe) levels. 

Requirements for the role include:

• Excellent academics;
• Common law/UK/Australasian/Canadian qualified front end construction/projects lawyer;
• International law firm experience;
• Prior GCC experience is a plus;
• Fully fluent English language skills, Arabic a plus.
