Project Management Executive – Legal/Insurance Sector

Our client is a specialise advisory business in the insurance market. It is a disruptor and is challenging the status quo of this long-established sector. We believe this business is unique in the UK.

The legal team, known as the Client Delivery Services Team, advises its corporate clients both on contentious (claims) and non-contentious (policy wordings and placement) issues.  Clients can range from SMEs and start-ups to FTSE 100 and global businesses and the demands for services are increasing.  This team now needs an individual with legal project and case management skills to support the work they are undertaking.

The role will include administrative duties such as diary management, liaising with clients and preparing documents, but it is a whole lot more than just admin!  You will be involved in managing client budgets, keeping track of deadlines and deliverables, co-ordinating teams, helping deliver pitches and proposals and developing complex project plans.   This role is the glue that keeps the team moving forward and the clients happy!

This position will require excellent IT skills as a bare minimum; you must be completely comfortable working with all of the Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  You will also be required to work on the client’s own case management software to track projects so wider IT experience is also extremely useful.  You must be extremely organised and able to multi-task and confident liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts.

In addition to those basic requirements, we would love to hear from candidates with experience of the legal and/or insurance industry.  For example, legal case management experience would be ideal for this role.  You will need to have some grasp of litigation and the jargon used in the insurance sector in order to be able to hit the ground running.
