Job Details
Private Client department in Ipswich is seeking to recruit a Private Client (Wills/Tax Trusts Probate) lawyer 2 or more years’ PQE. The team acts as trusted advisers to individuals, families, trustees, family or owner-run businesses and trust companies both in the UK and internationally. They place particular priority on continuity and fostering close long-term relationships with contacts and clients in order to provide practical advice and commercial solutions on a very wide variety of Tax, Trust and Estate Planning situations that arise. They also work very closely with the firm’s Agricultural team advising farming families and Landed Estates on succession and tax planning. You will manage a varied caseload involving all aspects of wills, trusts, tax, estate and succession planning and will be acting largely autonomously, albeit with other team members where appropriate. You will also be running and managing files and, where relevant, you will also be supervising/mentoring the junior lawyers and trainees. Other responsibilities of the role will include interacting directly with clients and managing their expectations and assisting senior members of the team, as required.
