Corporate (Equity Capital Markets) NQ – 4 years’ PQE LONDON

Directories-listed Equity Capital Markets team in London seeks to recruit a lawyer of between 0 and 4 years’ PQE. The teams’ clients include national and multinational corporations, global financial institutions, asset managers and investment funds, governments and regulatory bodies. They combine transactional expertise with in-depth sector experience focusing on Financial Institutions, Asset Management & Investment Funds, Life Sciences, TMT, Fintech and Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure. The team is split into Public Markets and Private Markets. The Public Markets team focuses on transactions by or involving listed companies which covers public M&A and shareholder activism, equity capital markets, private M&A by listed companies and listed company advisory and corporate governance. The successful candidate will support the continued growth of the Public Markets practice and gain exposure to challenging, complex, high-value and often high-profile corporate transactions. You will have the opportunity to work across all the core areas of the Public Markets team, as well as supporting the Private Markets team. A willingness to play a full role within the wider team is as important as experience of any particular work type.

If you are already qualified you will have a level of experience of M&A, ECM and corporate finance matters, which is commensurate with your PQE. You will also have a desire, going forward, to focus on public M&A, ECM and listed company transactions generally. Newly-qualified candidates will have undertaken a seat in at least one of the following: general Corporate, Corporate Finance/ Capital Markets and/or Banking.
