THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity for a talented Solicitor with up to 3 years’ PQE to join a thriving law firm based in the North East. The firm are increasingly busy and are looking to hire a qualified Costs Lawyer or Draftsperson into their Costs team. The team handle a variety of costs work including drafting bills of costs, Replies, Points of Dispute, Costs Budgets, Negotiations and Advice for Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Court of Protection, Commercial and Solicitor/Client matters. In this role, you'll handle your own caseload and be able to meet client requirements in order to offer excellent customer service. As part of the firm, you'll be working with experts in their field, receiving excellent salary and benefits packages.
CANDIDATE:
This role is best suited to a qualified Costs Lawyer with 0 - 3 years’ PQE or a non-qualified draftsperson with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience. Besides previous experience in all aspects of personal injury costs, experience in catastrophic personal injury matters would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have a self-starting approach to tasks and projects with the ability to work on your own initiative. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under minimal supervision. Good organisational and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role. This role is ideal for someone ambitious, driven, and keen to progress their career.
