In-house Property Solicitor

My client has a requirement for a UK qualified property solicitor to join the busy In-house legal department of a fast-paced property business, providing day to day advice on a portfolio of 2,500+ properties.

Specific property experience is secondary, such is the variety of both contentious and non-contentious, commercial and residential caseload but you can expect to be advising on any of the following; Granting of leases/surrenders, freehold/leasehold, newbuild and portfolio property purchases, sale transactions to private individuals and corporate entities through private treaty or auction sales as well as assisting with SPV refinance of properties to generate further capital to enable the business to purchase further properties and grow the portfolio.

You may also be involved with/prove liaison with external legal advisors in relation to possession proceedings or wider property related litigation and you will be offered the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy if desired, opening the role up to contentious and non-contentious property solicitors?

The role is offered on a hybrid basis with the legal team working x3 days per week in the office in Doncaster. We would anticipate this suiting a qualified solicitor with at least a couple of years PQE and you can expect the chance of line management responsibility in time, as the group and department continues to grow.

Salary is likely to be in the region of £40-£45k plus benefits.
