Our client is looking for an exceptional Contracts Lawyer based in London to join their growing global Legal team. The successful candidate will be providing commercial transaction support and influencing internal and external stakeholders across the business in the UK and Internationally.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of a fast-growing in-house legal function which is passionate about the growth and development of its team members.

Scope of the role:

· Act as a proactive legal contact to our internal business clients and advise on a wide range of commercial and contracting issues, including providing deal support on a day-to-day basis.

· Draft and negotiate commercial agreements that ensure appropriate terms for the business and with international and regional clients and suppliers.

· Work directly with colleagues across the business to analyse legal and commercial risks, devise creative solutions and develop strong, trusted advisor relationships.

· Assist in the development of approved legal templates for use by the business with internal stakeholder liaison, including playbooks and training.

· Demonstrate a keen ability to spot sensitive legal and business concerns aligned with the business principles and a strong sense of when to call out such matters internally.

· Drive organisational alignment on Privacy, IP and other legal matters and governance in commercial contracts.

Do you have the following?

• LLB and/or degree equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience specialising in commercial transactions.
• Experience working in a global fast-paced Tech/Data business would be beneficial.
• Hands on and confident working as part of a multidimensional team and comfortable escalating matters at right time.
• Exemplify strong attention to detail.
