This is a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Manager to take the lead at this international Engineering, Construction and Asset Management conglomerate, based out of their London HQ.

This reputable business is looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to deliver advisory compliance support, develop processes and undertake regulatory checks at Group level. You will be helping to deliver a mixture of large infrastructure projects, including water, hydropower, road and rail.

The group first began over 50 years ago and have since built and maintained an exciting mixture of infrastructure assets, including; airports, bridges, dams, tunnels, hydroelectric power plants, and much more. The business has a big focus on creating Projects which are sustainable and help to reduce CO2 emissions, in line with reach governments' climate commitments.

Unlike many Infrastructure businesses, the group work with the full life-cycle of Projects work. This includes; Financing, Design, Construction, Operating and Maintenance. The business pride themselves on reducing cost and improving delivery times without compromising quality, as well as providing safe transport, clean energy and sustainable socio-economic benefits to the regions that they work in.

The role

This company is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to take the lead from their London HQ.

You will be leading the Compliance function for the Group, working closely with the Board and the legal team. You will be responsible for the management and review of Company Policies, Manuals, Legal registers, the Environmental aspects register, as well as the development of Internal & external audits and the Recertification of the ISO's 9001, 45001 & 14001.

It will be your responsibility to provide technical advice on ESG legislation, interpreting and scanning for ESG/sustainability issues and helping the business to understand regulatory issues across the project lifecycle. You will also be monitoring Compliance during key project stages including; prior to Business Case submission and adherence to Cost, Schedule, Risk, Issue, Benefits, as well as reviewing Compliance at the Post Project Evaluation stage.

It will also be crucial to manage the expectations of stakeholders and maintain the Group's Competency Management Framework. It will also be a requirement to travel to other company offices across Europe and the Middle East.

Requirements

  • Experience in regulatory compliance matters within construction, engineering and complex infrastructure assets at international level
  • Experience with; policy development/implementation, provision of advisory support, compliance governance and reporting, handling internal and external investigations and reviews
  • 10+ years of Compliance Management experience
