Job Details
We are assisting a medium-sized Mid-Town Firm on the periphery of the City to continue to grow their insolvency and re-structuring desk with the introduction of a Partner or Senior Associate (or equivalent) who ideally has at least a part following/ work to bring.
This 40-50 Partner Firm has benefited from several very profitable years and has used this opportunity to further grow the scope of their offering, introducing several new Partners and several new practice areas since the start of 2020.
Key for them now is the growth of a fully functioning insolvency team although in the first instance they are looking to bring in the right individual to help take the practice further forward. The suitable individual will have a good pedigree in terms of Firm(s) previously worked for, strong relationships with the main Insolvency Practitioners and other clients and a commercially minded and dynamic personality.
This is a well-run and highly collegiate Firm where intra-departmental cooperation is commonplace. Partners tend to remain here for many years and there is a very relaxed and friendly culture. There are certain sections of their clientbase who are ripe for harvesting insolvency work from and recognising that this is a crucial hire for them, the Firm are prepared to pay something of a premium to get the right person in place.
