Defendant Lawyer required by a large national law firm in Liverpool to handle Credit Hire cases

The law firm work closely with insurers, brokers and MGA's to deliver a variety of fully outsourced claims solutions. Your new role
This role requires an individual be responsible for dealing with all aspects of litigated and non-litigated, defendant credit hire claims. You typical responsibilities and duties will include issuing Court proceedings, dealing with all aspects of claims involving Road Traffic Accidents and /or any files of a technical nature, which you may from time to time be asked to advice on, handle and/or progress, progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR, prioritising urgent schedule entries and dealing with remainder of daily tasks, and instructing Counsel, to attend conferences, hearings and CMCs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Solicitor, CiLEX qualified or file handler with experience in the credit hire field, alongside having a proven track record of running a successful small/ fast and/or multi track caseload within the credit hire environment. You will ideally have an understanding of the insurer clients reserving philosophy ensuring all reserves are accurate and up to date.
