A major UK headquartered International firm with a strong reputation in the Corporate market are looking to hire a senior individual to join their team in the City to advise predominantly on asset management M&A matters. The new joiner will be joining a highly regarded Corporate practice and advise on a broad range of complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. The successful applicant will predominantly be advising clients in the asset management sector representing hedge funds and asset managers on mergers and acquisitions. The team are looking for a specialist in this space to undertake a senior role and therefore substantial experience in this asset management sector would be highly desired. As a senior hire, the successful candidate will be comfortable liaising with high-end clients without partner supervision, managing junior to mid-level associates, be technically strong, a strategic thinker and proactive in attracting business. With this particular vacancy there is a clear-cut route to partnership with a 2-3 year track in place for the right individual.

The firm are looking for an individual with a minimum of seven years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a national, International or US law firm setting. Prior experience managing junior members of the team is required to be considered.
