Trusts & Private Wealth – Cayman Islands

Our client has is home to one of the largest trusts and private wealth teams in the offshore world, providing advice on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey to local and international clients, to include professional trustees, private individuals and families, banks, financial institutions and charities and their advisers.

Based out of their Cayman office, they now seek an enthusiastic lawyer with between 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience across the full spectrum of private client work including trust and supplemental deed drafting, will drafting, trust law analysis and advisory work, wealth structuring and family office planning, restructuring exercises, drafting of pre-litigation correspondence and preparation of court pleadings.  An interest in business development would also be advantageous - and will ultimately support your own career progression long-term.

Applicants should be offshore, UK or Commonwealth qualified, with a keen interest in the trusts and private wealth space.  The position combines top-level work, a welcoming and supportive team allied to the excellent lifestyle benefits of living and working in the Cayman Islands. Salary is very competitive (tax free) and dependent on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include a discretionary bonus scheme, health insurance, 25 days annual leave, contributory pension plan, gym membership, life assurance and income protection insurance.
