Banking Partner (Real Estate Finance) - Leading Global Professional Services Firm, Manchester and across the regions.

We are working with a global professional services firm, looking to grow its real estate offering in Manchester as part of a continued growth strategy for the firms' wider national real estate team. 

Within this, there is a specific focus on developing a best in class, borrower led, real estate finance team. As such we are looking for a Banking Partner with extensive real estate finance experience to lead and develop this offering.

This is a chance for an ambitious and forward-thinking Banking Partner to join this leading professional services firm. It suits someone looking for a new challenge, to play a pivotal role in the growth of this legal services offering. This firm have a blue-chip client base, an existing name within real estate, and are building a team which has already attracted high quality, stand-alone work and will be augmented by a high-quality real estate finance team.

This will be a varied real estate role, across a range of sectors and different work specialisms. 
This role is part of a broader strategic play to develop a leading national real estate team, doing blue-chip work for high value clients as part of the legal team of a truly global professional services consultancy. The broader real estate team will undertake; Development - commercial or residential including regeneration work; Investment work for large funds; Corporate Occupier work for blue-chip brands; as well as Asset management as well as Real Estate Finance work.

Real Estate Finance is a crucial piece to support this growth strategy and as such this role with have significant prominence and responsibility. Importantly, as a result of existing borrower contacts/clients, there is no requirement for a following here. The most important quality sort is that of someone with the drive and desire to build something and with first rate client and leadership skills. The firm are open both to existing experienced Partner hires and those at LD/Senior Associate level looking to take the step up.

You will be an experienced Banking Lawyer, with extensive real estate finance expertise and ready and able to lead a team to be considered for this opportunity.
