Senior Legal Counsel, can be remote and part-time
Senior Legal Counsel (5+ PQE)
Based in London, one day a week in the office
£80,000 - £90,000 + 10% bonus
I am currently recruiting for a leading infrastructure and facilities business, they are looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel, to report into the General Counsel and take over management of one Junior Lawyer.
The role itself he Senior Legal Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel, junior members of the team and other key individuals in the business to provide legal and governance support. They are looking for someone self-motivated, able to work autonomously to take the lead on legal matters whilst also being able to support and supervise junior members within a team context. Ideally with strong commercial transactional legal experience ideally in the property, facilities management and infrastructure sectors. Key duties include:
- Advising at a senior level on a wide variety of legal matters across the business including working closely with the General Counsel, external counsel and members of the Executive Committee
- Leading the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of legal documents applicable to the business activities including working with industry standard forms, bespoke client terms and in-house templates
- Supporting the bid development, procurement and operational teams on a wide range of complex legal matters including advising on new contracts, supply chain, operational disputes
- Keeping abreast and assessing impact to the business of changes in law / regulation
