With a stable pipeline of work and ambitions to continue expanding the team, while ensuring they retain a supportive and close-knit team environment, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level with a leading international law firm.
The Firm:
Consistently recognised for its tech innovation, family-friendly practice, and focus on diversity, this is a firm that will empower you to become the best version of yourself, develop new skills, and retain a healthy work/life balance.
Candidates I have placed with the firm in the past, have commented that the environment and culture have none of the stuffiness or 'cut-throat' approach that is often found at large corporate firms. Partners and Senior Lawyers have a genuine interest in you and your enjoyment of personal time while being invested in your professional development and career advancement.
The Role:
You will join a close-knit team as a Real Estate Development Lawyer (Associate or Senior Associate level) in the firm's Birmingham office.
You will advise on large scale, public sector-led development work, advising private and public sector clients on a range of matters, including city centre regen schemes, garden communities, residential developments, infrastructure, and commercial/mixed-use developments.
Working alongside down to earth lawyers within a small, specialist team, you will gain hands-on exposure to matters, with a high level of client contact and the platform to develop your reputation in the market.
As a senior team member, you will also play a vital role in developing junior team members and new & existing client relationships.
This role comes with mentorship from an industry-leading partner and genuine prospects for further progression to partnership. The firm also recognises that not everyone wishes to become a partner, and in which case, you will still be supported to progress your career while playing as important of a role within the team.
You can expect to receive an attractive package (£75-90k + bonus) and plenty of flexibility.
Requirements:
- You will be a Real Estate Lawyer with 4+ years PQE
- Ideally, you will have developed a niche practice within Real Estate Development. However, individuals from a general Real Estate background will be considered
- Comfortable supporting junior team members and being in a client-facing role
- You will be able to work in a collaborative, close-knit team environment
