Commercial Legal Counsel - 12 Month FTC

Your new company
This UK based business, headquartered in Manchester, has a 12 month fixed term contract vacancy for a talented commercial lawyer to join an established in-house legal team.

Your new role
You will provide maternity cover for an experienced commercial solicitor and will work as part of a collegiate team. You'll gain excellent exposure to a range of work from responding to general in-house legal queries, advising on high commercial contracts matters including IT and IP, as well as working with the wider team on high profile legal projects. You will also get involved in coaching and developing junior lawyers in the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified commercial solicitor with generalist in-house experience and the ability to adapt well in a busy environment. You will need to have excellent relationship building skills and be comfortable taking a business partnering approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence where necessary.

What you'll get in return
