JOB TITLE: Personal Injury Paralegal

SALARY: up to c£23,500 (£DOE)
THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking a talented Paralegal that have gained experience within a similar setting supporting to join their Personal Injury team. In this role you will be supporting the firms legal professionals who are all experts in their field. You will be expected to handle a full and varied caseload of claims proceeding in the MOJ Portal, including road traffic accidents, employers’ and public liability. The position involves instructing medical experts, compiling medical records, taking witness statements, and gathering information about loss of earnings and other losses. The successful candidate will be required to proactively litigate cases under supervision where liability is in dispute or when the pre-issue settlement is not possible. This role is an excellent opportunity and will provide the successful Paralegal with the chance to gain valuable experience in this area of law.
THE CANDIDATE:
This role is best suited to candidates with a minimum of 12 months’ previous experience in PI work, excellent rapport building skills and outstanding interpersonal skills. You will have a self-starting approach to tasks and projects with the ability to work on your own initiative. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under minimal supervision. Good organisational and strong IT skills are essential to be successful in this role. A core value of this firm is to provide excellent customer service; thus the appointed Legal Professional will have exceptional communication skills to communicate with clients and colleagues alike.
