Job Details
We are assisting a top tier offshore law firm with regards an important junior hire into their growing Luxembourg Banking & Finance practice. Working closely with colleagues within the office and across the firm’s global network, the successful candidate will be immediately involved in challenging and high profile transactions. Responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on providing legal advice to clients in general banking transactions (including fund finance, corporate finance, asset finance, securitisation, capital market);
- Working with a client base that comprises of domestic and international clients and prestigious foreign law firms;
- Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling;
- Working as part of a team and in daily interaction with the partners and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team.
Applicants for this position should have relevant experience in general Banking and Finance matters, while it is essential that all candidates have a strong academic background and stable career history. Prior experience as a finance trainee or associate and registration with a Bar Association would be desirable, but not essential. You must however be eligible to work within Luxembourg and be bilingual with at least English, French and/or German.
This post requires significant attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational, prioritisation and communications skills.
