Corporate/Banking/Financial Services (Associate) – Guernsey

Our client is an award-winning offshore law firm with expertise in BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law. In response to a sustained increase in workflow, they are looking for an ambitious associate to join their Corporate and Finance team in Guernsey. The work on offer will be varied and see the successful applicant advising clients in relation to financing, corporate and commercial law, general financial services, insurance and reinsurance.

Having earned a reputation for offering technical expertise coupled with commercial awareness and an understanding of their clients' desire for prompt response times and a solution-orientated service, it is therefore vitally important that they hire an individual with solid technical skills, a client centric and commercial approach with the ability to think on their feet.

To be considered, candidates will ideally have circa 3-5yrs post qualification experience (with some flexibility either side) gained within a transactional practice at a recognised onshore / offshore law firm. Admission to practice in Guernsey, United Kingdom or other mainstream Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g. AUS/NZ) necessary. Hands on experience across banking & finance and / or corporate will be important.
