THE ROLE:
A well-regarded national practice has an exceptional opportunity available for a talented Senior Personal Injury Lawyer to join their Disease team in their Manchester office. The appointed Lawyer will be required to run a full caseload of multi-track matters from initial instruction until settlement. In representing clients who have suffered from diseases, you will engage in challenging and rewarding casework. A key component of this role is to help grow and continue the success of the department as well as, advising junior members of the team to achieve the firm’s objectives. You will be joining a supportive environment and have the chance to make an impact.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcome from candidates with 8+ years’ PQE and who have excellent rapport building skills and outstanding interpersonal skills. You will need experience in handling high value and complex personal injury cases and be able to work under your own initiative. It is important for the appointed candidate to maintain substantial local relationships, for example, with union officials in the region, and to assist in communicating on behalf of the firm when necessary. Strong supervisory skills are essential in this role as well as, previous experience managing a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism at all times is crucial in being successful in this role.
