The Role:
You will join a respected, Legal 500 ranked Commercial team as an Associate in the firm's Manchester office.
You can expect to be involved in strategic and complex projects for global organisations across sectors such as tech, finance, retail, and advanced manufacturing. You will gain hands-on exposure to high-quality and engaging work, including general commercial contracts, TMT, data protection, and Intellectual Property.
You will be actively involved in nurturing junior talent, providing them with the guidance and support to develop and progress in their careers as you progress in your own. This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your leadership skills as you follow a transparent path to partnership.
The firm offers an attractive salary at the top end of the regional market, an impressive bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. In addition, you will have complete flexibility, with most people in the team working between 2 & 3 days a week in the office.
Requirements:
- As a guide, this role would suit a Commercial Lawyer with 5+ years PQE
- Experience gained across a range of Commercial matters at a respected city/regional law firm or in-house legal team
- Comfortable in a client-facing role
- Keen to get involved in supporting and helping to develop junior lawyers
