Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial/TMT

Our client is a leading insurance underwriter with a pan-EMEA presence.  With a plan for organic growth over the coming 3-5 years, their GC now seeks to add to the Legal Department a lawyer with a TMT background, ideally including SaaS deals.

Working closely with underwriters, c-suite and infrastructure functions, you will be involved in a broad range of commercial and technology arrangements from SaaS and outsourcing transactions to licensing, advice on their cyber insurance package, e-commerce terms for insurance sales etc as well as more central and more insurance driven contracts such as service level agreements, insurance distribution, affinity partnerships and other commercial arrangements.

The successful candidate will be a lawyer with a significant background in TMT transactions seeking to gain broader coverage and deeper sector expertise while acting as lead advisor on TMT related matters.  With 5-10 years’ pqe, you will seek a role in which you are highly visible within the business, have autonomy around your workload and can work remotely up to full time.
