Priority Hire – Litigation & Insolvency – Tier 1 Firm, British Virgin Islands

Our client is home to one of the most accomplished disputes teams of any firm in the BVI, regularly engaged on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes to include insolvency and restructuring, banking & financial services litigation, commercial & company disputes, trust litigation, fraud & asset recovery (and the list goes on!). Working closely with colleagues across its international network of offices, the firm represent clients spanning major corporates, financial institutions, funds and UHNW/HNW’s / family offices.  

In response to a significant uptick in activity and with strong expectations for a very busy few years ahead, they are keen to attract a number of additional high calibre barristers / solicitor advocates at the Associate / Senior Associate / Counsel level. 

To be considered applicants will be academically strong, BVI and/or England & Wales qualified and hail from either a reputable city / international firm or be practicing with a directory rated commercial / chancery chambers. Solid advocacy experience is very desirable as there will be ample opportunity to get on your feet. Furthermore, it is essential that candidates are commercial in their approach (with excellent communication skills), adaptable to changing circumstances and able to take proactive responsibility for client files. Confident in your technical ability and able to work independently, you will however be comfortable working within a close knit team that encourages discussion and contribution across all facets of the practice.
