Experienced complex PI / disease paralegal
Your new company
This is a large, UK Top-50 law firm that specialise in defendant legal services for a wide range of well-known clients. The firm are growing their industrial disease team and are seeking experienced paralegal to join progressive team. The firm operate a highly flexible hybrid working policy with one anchor day in the Greater Manchester office.
Your new role
This role will see you join a fast paced department and progressive team managing a caseload of Complex Military Deafness claims from the Ministry of Defence. The role will see you supporting senior fee earners, you will conduct legal research, review evidence including medical/personnel records/AFCS and War Pension records. You will work closely with clients and be confident in forging strong relations.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have gained previous experience in complex cases ideally in industrial disease / noise induced hearing loss. The successful candidate will have prior experience of claims handling either litigated or pre-litigated within disease work. You will have exceptional attention to detail and thrive in a fast paced environment.
