Assistant Company Secretary role - Bristol + Hybrid Working

Your new firm
Our client is a well-known financial business who are currently looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their Bristol office. This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your company secretary career within a supportive yet driven team. Hybrid working is available - it is anticipated that you will go into the office 2 days per week (or more if desired), therefore you will ideally live within commutable distance of Bristol. Genuine career prospects are on offer here for the right person.

Your new role
In this role, you will take responsibility for day-to-day company secretarial support functions, working closely with the Group Company Secretary and other team members to maintain an efficient and professional company secretariat function across the Group. The preparation of papers, minutes, agendas and board packs will be an integral part of the role; the role offers the opportunity to help establish and develop new systems and processes, working closely with the legal and commercial teams to ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a great role for someone who is either part or fully ICSA qualified who is looking for their next challenge. Extensive minute taking experience and a good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 is highly desirable.
You must have previous company secretarial experience, strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills for this role, as well as excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of the PFI industry would be a bonus but is not a pre-requisite.
