Their clients include an impressive list of premier arrangers, lenders, equity sponsors, developers, and corporate borrowers, whom they advise on a broad and varied range of matters, including secured and unsecured corporate loans; acquisition, project, asset, and real estate financings; and consensual debt restructurings. Their work is usually cross-border (particularly involving Europe, the Gulf and Africa) and spans a variety of sectors and asset classes, covering both conventional and Shari'ah compliant finance structures. Some advice to financial institutions on Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) regulatory matters and to corporates on laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) will also feature. Applicants will need to be US, UK, Commonwealth or European qualified lawyers with a strong track-record in large scale and complex cross-border financing transactions. Arabic and/or French language skills would also be welcomed although these are not essential.
