The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom invites applications for Judicial Assistants to support the work of the Justices.
Fixed term contracts will start on Monday 11 September 2023 and finish on Friday 2 August 2024.
Applications are invited for up to eleven temporary posts, assisting the Justices of the Supreme Court (who also sit in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council) by carrying out research in connection with appeals and summarising applications for permission to appeal.
Candidates must be qualified in one of the UK jurisdictions as a solicitor, barrister or advocate, and have completed their training contract or pupillage by 1 October 2023. Candidates should demonstrate a high intellectual and analytical ability, incisiveness and work well under pressure.
Salary will be £37,230 per annum plus an annual leave entitlement of 23 days encouraged to be taken outside of term time.
Appointments are full-time and candidates must be able to start on Monday 11 September 2023 and finish on Friday 2 August 2024.
