Job Details
Well-regarded Leeds based Financial Services heavyweight with established and integral legal team, requires a commercial solicitor with extensive commercial contracts experience to compliment the team.
The HQ is Leeds city centre, but the group operates a flexible hybrid work scheme which requires their solicitors be in the office 2 days (though you are welcome to attend as often as you like) and the 35 hours can be tweaked in order to suit your life!
The ideal candidate with be a qualified solicitor with 4+ years of non-contentious commercial exposure, knowledge of, interested in or previous experience of working in a regulated environment would be useful but not essential.
Whilst the business and sector is Financial Services, the work is very much generalist and varied due to the diversity of the internal stakeholders and positioning of the team within the groups set up. Whilst there are no official reports, this role will be regarded as a senior position and will offer increased responsibility and therefore would suit someone looking to make their next move into a more accountable In-house position.
