Allied London is an established UK property-development group which devises, designs and delivers landmark mixed-use developments, buildings and concepts in London, Manchester and Leeds. Beyond property development, the Allied London group consists of several related business, offering an integrated platform of services. These include an operating business offering workspace and hospitality destinations, and a national studios business covering broadcast, TV and film studios.

The in-house Legal team at Allied London seeks a Legal Counsel to work alongside the Manchester-based Legal Director. You will be a qualified Solicitor admitted in England and Wales with excellent technical knowledge and experience of commercial law. NQ Solicitors and those with up to 3 years’ PQE will likely be at the appropriate level for this opportunity.

Alongside technical legal expertise, you will be an open-minded, adaptable and confident individual who will thrive in an entrepreneurial business and with a diverse workload. The new Legal Counsel will have exposure to all parts of the business allowing them to expand their skillset in a variety of areas (including commercial contracts, IP, data and privacy, property, construction, and corporate governance).

You will be a key part of a Legal team which plays an important role in all aspects of the business, and will have close contact with stakeholders and employees – this is a hugely varied in-house role which will work closely with the Legal Director, providing an excellent opportunity for a junior Legal Counsel to develop.
