An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and driven solicitor to join our clients Private Real Estate team in Cambridge, with a particular focus on supporting partners and fee earners dealing with rural and agricultural property.

You will deliver high quality advice advising high and ultra-high net worth international and domestic private clients and also commercial and charity clients, in all aspects of rural property.

Matters will include sale and purchase of farms, landed estates and rural residential property, sale of land for residential and commercial development, leases for renewable energy projects, occupancy arrangements for agricultural land, including the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, the Agricultural tenancies Act 1995 and contract farming and share farming agreements as well as management of rural property assets.

Applicants of all levels of post-qualification experience will be considered. For more junior applicants you will need to have an enthusiasm and willingness to quickly become familiar with the relevant areas of the practice, while for more senior applicants familiarity with relevant practice areas is an advantage. Real Estate lawyers wishing to redirect their careers towards rural property will also be considered.

The successful applicant will also take part in business development opportunities, contributing to the growth of the team.
