Top Tier, global, law firm has retained us to recruit a talented and ambitious Competition Law Solicitor due to continued, strategic, expansion.

Services provided across these sectors include asset management and investment funds, corporate and M&A, commercial, competition, litigation and arbitration, banking, restructuring, insurance, regulatory, construction, projects, pensions, property, planning and environmental, procurement, outsourcing, employment, share plans and incentives, technology and tax advice.
The Team

The Competition team advises clients on the full range of UK and EU competition law issues from merger control and national security to antitrust investigations, competition litigation, consumer law, State aid and subsidy control, public procurement and international trade law.
The Role
This is a truly varied role, with no two days being alike. The role involves the following:

merger control, national security & investment, antitrust investigations and advisory including cartels, vertical agreements, abuse of a dominant position, market studies and investigations, competition litigation and consumer law. So an interesting mix of work is on offer.

The Candidate

The firm is looking for a candidate to work on EU and UK competition law matters. You will not be expected to advise on State aid/subsidy control, public procurement law or trade law.

You will have a solid track record in Competition law, gained in a leading City or national firm, from the Brussels offices of City firms or in-house lawyers from industry or any of the competition regulators.

Experience of the energy, financial services, technology or pharmaceutical sectors would be of strong interest.
