Job Details
Our client is an East Coast US Firm with a spread of offices across the US and Europe and with a London office that is growing rapidly (40% over the last 2 years). The Firm is well-known for its positive working environment and it has a particularly high retention rate in the City.
Strong in multiple areas, particularly Disputes and Finance, there is now a strategic need to grow the office's Corporate team, either with the lateral hire of a Partner or, preferably a team, in order to elevate the team to the next level and to add general expertise across Corporate matters.
The ideal candidate will have sufficient expertise in numerous areas including, but not limited to, M&A, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Joint Ventures and Securities work.
Whilst profit share will be dictated by level of following, there is considerable scope to leverage of some of the Firm's pre-existing work / client-base, the team benefiting from a steady influx of work into London from the Firm's US offices.
Whilst our clients are happy for the lateral hire to have a 'sector agnostic' practice, individuals with a clientbase leaning towards Energy, Technology, FinTech or Financial Services clients would be of particular interest.
