The Role

Exciting opening for a Senior Associate in Banking 4+ PQE to join this Top 100, Legal 500 & Chambers-ranked team in the City of London.

You'll need to have gained experience working in a banking/finance team or dealing with such matters as part of a corporate team.

Particular experience in sectors where this firm has a strong national reputation, (such as the Sustainable Economy, Impact Investing, Financial Services, Private Wealth, Real Estate and International) would be useful, but not a prerequisite.

The reason for this role is the firm is looking ahead to a period of significant growth for the team with proposed investment into the banking and finance sub-section of the team and expansion into project finance.

The Team

This banking and finance team act for banks, financial institutions, asset-based lenders, trade financiers, alternative lenders, development finance institutions, impact funds, borrowers and other stake holders in a wide variety of banking and finance-related matters, including support on the financial components of commercial property, projects and infrastructure transactions as well as corporate finance and banking transactions.

The team has particular expertise in international impact investment matters, private wealth, bridging, development and other property-based lending.

The Banking practice is led by a recognised "Next Generation Partner" in The Legal 500 and a "Notable Practitioner" in Chambers and Partners. This is the Partner you will be working with very closely within this role.

Requirements

  • 4+ years PQE in Banking
  • England & Wales Solicitors qualification.
  • Experience working in a banking/finance team or dealing with such matters as part of a corporate team.
