Commercial Solicitor

The firm are looking for a Solicitor to play a key role in our Commercial/IT team to be based in either our Birmingham, office.

Your work will focus on commercial contracts for the likes of Central Government bodies, (and range of arms' length bodies and executive agencies), NHS bodies, local authorities and central government agencies, as well as private sector companies.

Your work will be broad and interesting, giving you extensive client contact from the outset. Throughout, you'll be well supported in an experienced, inclusive team.

What the firm are looking for from you

The successful candidate will :

• Have experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and contract management support
• Ability to work in a team, coordinating advice with other fee earners
• An ability to liaise effectively with clients
• Practical and commercial approach
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively

Additionally, you may have worked in Private Practice, establishing yourself as a reliable and capable commercial lawyer dealing with a breadth of clients. We'd equally like to hear from you if you've worked in-house at a tech firm or within the public sector, and are looking to make the move to a law firm. Whatever your work background, you must be excellent in front of clients, ready to play an active role in growing the team and eager to drive your career forward in a progressive and ambitious practice.
