The Role:

This is a stand-out opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor to join the In-House team in Newcastle, as Legal Counsel.

With incremental, first-hand training at your disposal, there is no strict need for you to be a specialist in both Employment and Commercial law. Instead, you will be a driven, keen-to-learn individual with some form of experience in either department. This will come with direct collaboration with two other UK based lawyers and its Legal Helpdesk function.

Once up to speed, you will have a diverse caseload covering employment issues, creation of new business entities, terms of business and contracts in response to market development and changes in laws, drafting and updating employment policies, and managing resolution to multiple collection matters with clients.

Due to being a global company, you will find your caseload has an international reach, which will provide stimulating work.

Requirements:

  • You will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • You will have experience in either Employment and/or Commercial law, however, training will be provided
  • You will have the ability to handle multiple matters and multiple clients simultaneously
