Your new company
A specialist, claimant focused litigation firm. They undertake a variety of work including Japanese knotweed claims, financial mis-selling claims including solar panel mis-selling, property damage claims and competition claims. This firm have an established practice with regard to Japanese knotweed and the various legal issues which arise from it.

Your new role
This firm are looking for someone to help run Japanese knotweed and financial mis-selling cases. This will involve:

• Dealing with initial enquiries from potential clients
• Drafting including: Letters of Claim, Particulars of Claim, Court Forms
• Correspondence with clients and defendants
• Filing claims
• Management of litigation including:

Ensuring court deadlines are complied with
Preparing disclosure and trial bundles
Instructing and liaising with counsel and experts
Preparing costs budgets, draft orders and case summaries

What you'll need to succeed
Candidates should:

• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience of litigation
• Have a law degree or passed the GDL
• Have a good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have excellent drafting skills
• Be motivated and capable of working independently
