Senior Legal Counsel sought for growing listed entrepreneurial business – we are seeking an experienced lawyer who enjoys undertaking a varied business facing role. Hybrid working on offer with 2 days in the North West or London offices.
Arbuthnot Yon are working with a well-known listed business which has grown significantly in recent years. This role has been created to support business expansion and you will support the business operations across various divisional business.
Reporting into the Head of Legal you will have a senior facing international role which will see you advising on a wide range of Group projects from commercial contracts, group procurement, strategic business projects, acquisitions and group compliance projects and data protection. This position can be undertaken on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office (the business has its HQ in the North West).
Specifically, you will:
- advise on and lead commercial contracts and projects, these will include general commercial agreements, technology, e-commerce, data protection and IP related issues and agreements; support in relation to M&A actively and group financing (with external support); and advise on and support strategy in relation to compliance and governance and regulatory issues and policy.
This is a really exciting time to join the business as it has experienced significant growth with ambitious plans for the future. We are keen to hear from commercial lawyers with plus 7 PQE experience. Any experience gained in corporate, data protection and regulatory issues would be a bonus. Crucially, you will need to have the ability to lead on a variety of commercial projects and undertake a broad range of legal work across general commercial legal areas.
This role can be undertaken on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office in the North West or London.
