Role Overview
This role will have a broad focus and due to the nature of the work would best suit someone from a commercial, technology, or life sciences background.
Responsibilities include:
Providing highly specialised advice, drafting and negotiation of commercial and regulatory matters. Work will include tech/IT/software agreements, innovation contracts and international undertakings.
Supporting the legal team, and managing your direct report
Leading and supporting further development of the commercial and legal risk infrastructure
What They're Looking For
You'll be a mid-senior level lawyer who has ideally worked within a commercial, technology, or life sciences role. Although this is within healthcare, a commercial acumen is very much required, as the focus is within innovation.
You'll need to be able to establish relationships with senior stakeholders as you'll be liaising with research facilities, educational establishments, and clinics.
